The Water Corporation’s authorised contractor, Leicon Notley, will soon start work to upgrade the wastewater pump station on Point Leander Drive in Dongara.

Upgrading the pump station will cater for growth in the area and improve the reliability of wastewater services in the town.

The upgrades will include:

• Decommissioning of the existing switchboards,
• Installation of new pumps, valves, switchboards, and,
• Installation of a new Western Power Transformer.

When is this happening?

Work on the pump station is expected to commence in early February 2024, however you may notice preparatory work taking place at the sire in late January 2024.

The work is expected to take approximately six months to complete.
