Getting ready for bushfire season. Western Power have nearly completed work in the Mid West to help minimise fire risk and resulting network impacts, including:

installing poles with fire retardant paint
maintaining poles, wires and insulators
replacing 1,200 silicone insulators
replacing 15km of conductors
managing vegetation.
