Shire of Irwin - A Brilliant Blend

Dongara and Port Denison are two towns working together in harmony to form the Shire of Irwin.

It's the brilliant blend of coastal and rural landscapes, the blend of new and old and the blend of lifestyle and employment opportunities that make the Shire of Irwin as an enviable place to live, work and play.

This area offers a relaxed lifestyle with beautiful beaches, historical sites and a healthy fishing industry.  The main street, Moreton Terrace, is lined with Moreton Bay Fig trees which were planted in 1906 and are now a focal point of the town.

The Shire of Irwin Offices are located at 11-13 Waldeck Street, Dongara, alongside the Visitor Centre and Public Library. Should you wish to contact the Shire please call 9927 0000 (including after hours) or email  reception@irwin.wa.gov.au.
