Civil works have been progressing well with the renewal of the drainage near Hosken Street, and trenching now backfilled and compacted. The old lighting posts have also been disconnected and removed. The sculpture from the Point Leander/Moreton Tce roundabout has been removed and safely stored and will be reinstated at the completion of the project.

Stage 2 is scheduled to commence Monday 24 May and will begin the asphalt works, profiling and kerbing. Once asphalting is complete, roads will commence partially reopening to traffic with the appropriate signage and traffic management modified to suit. Subsequently, paving of pathways will commence in small sections to ensure minimal disruption to pedestrian traffic and thoroughfare.
