Finger Jetty Closure

11 May 2023

Please be advised – due to an unfortunate incident with a boat, the end of the Finger Jetty at the Denison Boat Ramp is currently closed.

Earlier this week a boat hit the jetty causing major structural damage, which has affected its usability. For the safety of all users the Shire has cordoned off the damaged sections of the jetty. At this stage the boat ramp is still open to the public, however we do ask that boat users take care and stay clear of the damaged section of the jetty.

The Shire has engaged contractors to fix the jetty as a matter of urgency, however we ask that those using the boat ramp to be patient while these works are being carried out, as they may impact the time needed to launch your vessel.

We thank you are your patience and co-operation and will keep the community updated on the progress of the repairs.
