The Shire of Irwin's signature event, the 2022 Denison Foreshore Sprint and Midwest Show and Shine is happening next Sunday, September 25! It is an action packed day of cars, racing, motorcycles, food and fun.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to hold such a huge event without some disruptions, so we ask that the community please take note of and respect the following closures and changes.

Road Closures

Road closures will be in place between the Obelisk on Point Leander Drive and the Roundabout (near Granny’s Beach). The closures will also affect Leitch Street, Samuel Street, Coles Way, George Street and Albatross Lane from 6am to 5pm Sunday September 25. Road closures will be clearly marked, and Traffic Management will be in place.
