The new asphalt road surface between the roundabouts has been successfully completed and kerbing between the two roundabouts will commence soon. Intermittent closure of road sections may be required as these works progress.

The road surface profiling and asphalting for the remaining section beginning at the Point Leander roundabout and ending at Brand highway will be undertaken once the kerbing works between the roundabouts is complete. Asphalting at the Church Street roundabout will be conducted at the same time.
