All local governments are required to adopt an annual budget in accordance with Part 6, Division 2 of the Local Government Act 1995, Part 3 of the Local Government (Financial Management) Regulations 1996, Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and the Australian Accounting Standards Board Interpretations (AASBI). The budget is a detailed financial plan for the coming year covering all aspects of a council’s operations, and should reflect the resources generated by way of revenue and the resources consumed by way of expenditure.

The 2022/23 Annual Budget was adopted by Council at the 23 August 2022 Ordinary Council Meeting.
