A Brilliant Blend Bulletin - Issue 26 2016

Created on: Friday, 11 November 2016 at 2:03:14 PM

REMEMBERANCE DAY 11 NOVEMBER

This year 11 November marks the 98th anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War (1914-1918).

Each year on this day Australians observe one minute silence at 11am, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.

Congratulations to the Dongara R.S.L and their volunteers on a respectful and moving memorial service at Memorial Park today. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who are currently serving, may have served or have family members who may be affected.

MEET THE PEOPLE SESSIONS

A further two Meet the People sessions have been scheduled to be held prior to the Christmas break:

  • 4pm Friday 18 November at 130 Melaleuca Road
For residents living north of the Dongara townsite
  • 5:30pm Friday, 2 December at 24 Acacia Road
