Welcome to the Shire of Irwin Recreation Centre, known as the 'Irwin Rec' - sporting and function centre.
The original Irwin Recreation Centre, consisting of a one court stadium, 2 squash courts, a small function area, tennis club lean-to and football changerooms was officially opened on Saturday 12th May, 1984. This facility still stands today, and has been upgraded to blend with the new additions, consisting of a massive 2 court stadium, large function centre with full commercial kitchen plus bar, new changerooms, offices and reception, storerooms, plus a smaller function / meeting / tennis club room, known as the 'Ocean Room'.
The Irwin Rec was officially opened on 20th February 2009.
