WILDLIFE CONTROL PROGRAM

Control of Eastern Long-billed Corella

The Shire of Irwin would like to advise the community that measures to control the seasonal influx of Corellas will commence in various locations within the following weeks.

The device used is aimed at discouraging birds from foraging by emitting a short, sharp, high pressure noise.

All control measures shall comply with the provisions of the Wildlife Conservation Act 1950, Wildlife Conservation Regulations 1970 and any notices in force under this legislation.

For further information please contact the Community Ranger on 9927 0000 or email ranger@irwin.wa.gov.au.
