Irwin Recreation Centre Sports
The Irwin Recreation Centre runs a range of social sporting competitions throughout the year including Mens and Womens Basketball,day-time and night-time Ladies Netball competitions as well as seasonal junior sports activities.
Outdoor Sports
Football
The Irwin Rec has a dedicated football oval, which does not include a cricket pitch - something quite unique for a community of our size. Cricket is played at the Town Oval. The Rec Centre oval is overlooked by our new Function Room and large undercover area with the most modern ablutions and changerooms close by, creating an enjoyable experience for both spectators and players.
Tennis
Irwin Rec has 4 x lawn and 2 x artificial grass tennis courts. The artificial grass courts are available for hire all year round and are fully lit for night.

Outdoor Courts
The Centre also has 2 x outdoor basketball / netball courts. These are open for use by casual users at all times.
