A safe community is a place that is attractive to live, work, visit and do business. Perceptions of community safety, real or perceived, impact on the way people feel and interact in their community.
A Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan is both a strategic and practical document that provides a framework for local government, local community groups and key government agencies to implement initiatives that will improve community safety over all.
The Shire will be working with the WA Police and local community to develop a current Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan. This plan will introduce new initiatives that address current issues within the region.
